Watch the minimum spend. A €20 coupon that needs €130 of purchases is worth less than a 15% code with no threshold on a €60 basket. Check the "Offer details" line before you fill your cart.
Stack what can be stacked. Cashback, loyalty points and referral bonuses are applied outside the checkout box, so they usually combine with a promo code. Sale items and newsletter discounts sometimes do not.
